**A little bit about the role**

The
**Product Manager, Transaction Banking** is responsible for the product management of the Great Southern Bank, Everyday Banking portfolio.

Located in Brisbane or Sydney, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, in this role you are responsible for monitoring and reporting transaction account product performance and assisting with the management of our Everyday Banking product portfolio. You proactively examine product performance using internal reports and data sources, resolve issues, contribute to product development and maintenance, and support stakeholders as required. You also assist with developing product strategy and managing third party relationships as required.
- Drive new account and non-interest-bearing balance growth for the everyday banking suite of products
- Manage back book engagement of the portfolio to meet retention and run off objectives
- Product lead and support to ensure successful implementation of regulatory change / compliance initiatives
- Product project implementation including project analysis support, impact assessment, and project delivery roll out
- Review existing products and implement changes to the products and deliver enhancements to ensure optimal value to customers and GSB including pricing
- Develop support materials and product related communications to internal and external stakeholders, ensure all are compliant with legislative requirements

**A little bit about you**
- Experience in a Retail Banking environment with exposure to Product Management or a related area, with a keen understanding of competitor and market influences
- You have demonstrated your ability to research and analyse data and interpret and analyse business reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels and across different audiences.
- Highly numerate, strong prioritisation and organisational skills, and a demonstrated ability to understand complex data sets
- Finally, you excel at problem-solving qualitative and quantitative challenges, and you can effectively work on multiple projects in parallel.
