Our client is seeking an experienced Receptionist / Student Support Administrator, responsible for creating a warm, inviting, welcoming first image of the College whilst ensuring the smooth running of reception. An immediate start is available for this permanent role.
- Welcoming students and visitors, in reception and incoming calls
- Assisting with weekly enrolments and orientations
- Maintain front office area
- Attendance tracking and reports
- Provide seamless customer service
- Provide effective support for students and various enquiries
- Ensuring timely and accurate data entry and management of Student Management System
- Checking, sorting and distributing mail/correspondence (arrange postage/envelopes/stamps)
- Create and print graduation certificates for students
- Create and print student ID’s
- Managing office stationary stocktake and ordering
- General housekeeping; tidy kitchen areas, keep meeting rooms tidy
**Required Skills**:
- Previous experience in a receptionist role, or in a similar customer facing role
- The capability to work within a team and provide high levels professionalism both internally and externally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Immaculate presentation with warm, friendly disposition
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Able to complete administrative tasks with mínimal supervision
**Desired Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar customer-facing administrative role within a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to organise self, multi-task in a busy work environment with competing priorities and demands, and cope under pressure at busy times.
- Experience in using a computerised VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) and Microsoft Office suite
