Year Level Coordinator Role Overview

The Year Level Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the pastoral needs of students within their year level are met, and delivers an evidence-based student wellbeing curriculum.

This position promotes a supportive, safe, and inspiring environment, while aligning with the school's vision, values, policies, and procedures.

The coordinator is recognized as an exemplary teacher, promoting innovative student wellbeing practices and improving educational opportunities.

They mentor teachers, using targeted interventions to develop knowledge, practice, and professional engagement.

The coordinator contributes to a whole-school approach to wellbeing, overseeing students' holistic development and engagement.

They support the Head of Student Wellbeing – Secondary and Head of Section by assisting to manage student wellbeing and pastoral care across their year level.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor of Education degree or higher, and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
