**Who we are**
The Trade Reform and Digital Trade Initiatives Divisions have been established to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for agricultural exports, and to coordinate the range of export business and digital reform programs that are currently underway. At the heart of this reform package is the modernisation of export systems by building “Digital Services to Take Farmers to Markets”.

The Digital Clearance Service Branch is focused on modernising and sustaining our digital export services by future proofing current and emerging systems. The successful applicants will collaborate with export program areas to deliver benefits for exporters across commodities.

**The Job**
The Vendor and Production Support Officer supports the clear and productive lines of communication between the department and vendors. They contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for all stakeholders. The duties of the role include:

- supporting the Technical Vendor Liaison to meet outcomes and deliverables
- assisting in the development and coordination of correspondence to multiple stakeholders
- supporting technical liaison tasks with various third-party Interface Software Providers on both system and client support issues
- working with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of work programs and projects
- providing basic advice relating to the departments’ export systems that is timely, effective, and accurate
- providing Level 2 Export System production support for internal and external clients
- whilst working under supervision, assisting with system Business Verification Testing (BVT) requirements, as necessary, for system deployments
- managing vendor issues as they arise including triaging to appropriate areas for investigation and resolution.

**Please note** that this non-ongoing position is available for an initial period of eighteen months with the possibility of extension up to a maximum period of three years in total. This position may become ongoing in the next eighteen months which may result in the successful applicant being offered ongoing employment.
