We are seeking a Bid Advisor to provide strong and reliable support to our Sector leadership team based in Brisbane. This is a unique and strategic role that supports our Sector Leadership team locally, while also collaborating with the Asia Pacific New Zealand and Australia (APNA) Prospects and Submissions team to proactively contribute to work winning opportunities and in delivering strong submissions.

As Bid Advisor, you’ll lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality proposals across a region or sector. Reporting to the Unit Prospect and Submissions Manager, you’ll be responsible for your division, guiding a team of Bid Coordinators to produce client-focused, consistent submissions that meet Mott MacDonald’s standards. You’ll manage all small to medium bids, bringing the same strategic focus and quality expected of major pursuits. By turning strategy into action, you’ll enable the team to deliver winning proposals while supporting the Unit Bid and Submission Manager’s focus on higher-value opportunities.

**Lead and develop your team**
- Manage and mentor Bid Coordinators and Senior Bid Coordinators
- Balance workloads and allocate resources across multiple bids
- Provide regular feedback and support to drive performance and growth

**Drive strategy and delivery**
- Work closely with the Unit Prospect and Submissions Manager to embed strategic priorities
- Turn big-picture goals into bid-specific plans to maintain consistency across all
- Manage the delivery of high-quality submissions whilst focusing on major pursuit support
- Share insights with others to improve the pursuit and winning of work

**Oversee bids with care and precision**
- Lead planning and delivery of smaller bids, while helping position for future opportunities.
- Run workshops and strategy sessions with Client Directors and leaders
- Lead bid strategy sessions to guide the creation of win themes, storyboards, and review plans
- Review and approve final bids to ensure they meet quality and strategic standards

**Champion systems and smart ways of working**
- Oversee tools like CRM, Proposal Hub, and the APNA WIN Site to track and manage submissions
- Help refine templates, guidance and pursuit tools
- Deliver sharp client documents using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other tools as needed, using value proposition tools and documents to extract insights that strengthen our bids
