**The Opportunity**

The Security & Fire Protection Team (S&FP) in Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy and efficient industrial security service in the protection of personnel, infrastructure and all confidential data foundational to Boeing and its clients.

Our vision is to be the most reliable, meticulous and trusted security enabler across all Defence Industries. We are presently seeking a talented Bids & Campaign Advisor.

Reportingto the Security Governance and Assurance Manager this position will deliver on a range of objectives relating to new business; including tenders, campaigns & contracts all in compliance with Defence & Government standards and the expectations of Boeing Defence Australia (BDA).

This role can be based in Brisbane, Williamtown or Adelaide.

**Responsibilities**

The Bids & Campaigns Advisor has an important role in coordinating and enabling the support provided by S&FP to BDA in the planning and delivery of new business opportunities including tenders, campaigns & contracts. This role is required to:

- On behalf of the S&FP, coordinate and manage the operational advisories necessary to support a diverse range of new business initiatives and opportunities
- Ensure accurate forecasting of S&FP estimates in emerging markets and new contracts
- Develop accurate S&FP staffing profiles to ensure the successful & accurate delivery of tender and contract responses
- Manage S&FP participation within the BDA gate process, demonstrating an ability to work cooperatively and in a timely manner as part of a wider BDA team delivering on long
- and short-term shared business expansion goals
- Provide feedback to S&FP leadership team on new and emerging bids, tenders & contracts including the management of risk and artefacts that support S&FP & BDA needs in this space
- Contribute professionally to BDA strategic business objectives and growth as a representative of S&FP enabling new business development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and high levels of integrity to ensure both Boeing and client information and data is protected
- Empower a culture of safety, security and compliance across the business

**Experience/Qualifications**
- This position requires an Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level and applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
- Demonstrable understanding of contemporary security initiatives with a good working knowledge of relevant Defence Standards as they relate to the DSPF, PSPF and ISM
- Experience, in the management of disparate & remote teams, including enabling staff to deliver a trusted and industry leading business resilience service to both internal and external clients
- Highly organized, task oriented, self-starter that demonstrates a high degree of initiative and requires mínimal supervision
- Ability to make and/or change plans, goals and actions in response to an evolving business environment with the awareness to operate as a focal for security across the business
- Ability to be on call as required by business needs and to travel periodically as planned or unplanned often with little advance notice within or outside assigned region
