An exciting opportunity to join Unison as **Accessories Designer.**Reporting to the Creative Director, this role is responsible for designing and developing our accessories collections, ensuring they align with brand objectives and position Unison as a market leader in the accessories space.

**THE ROLE**:

- Lead the design and development of seasonal accessories ranges across categories, delivering trend-driven, brand-aligned collections.
- Research and forecast colour, trend, and styling directions, presenting seasonal concepts to the Creative Director.
- Drive innovation across creative elements to elevate the Unison accessories offering.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on range planning, ensuring product mix, price points, and margin requirements are achieved.
- Develop and maintain CAD sketches, tech packs, style files, and buy documents.
- Manage supplier communications, ensuring quality, price, and compliance standards are met.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of collections at buy meetings, VM handovers, and PSR reviews.
- Maintain colour palettes, trims, approvals, and seasonal range boards.
- Analyse sales and market trends to identify growth opportunities and maximise profitability.
- Partner with Marketing and PR to support product placement opportunities and campaigns.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong technical understanding of footwear and accessories.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Fashion Design (or related field).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong sketching and tech pack creation skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills and a commercially analytical mindset.
- Ability to balance creativity with sales performance, margin, and range architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
