Technical Design Expert

We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to production managers and designers, focusing on footwear and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design briefs and ensure quality standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate technical packs in the product lifecycle management system or through an agreed manual process.
  • Establish and maintain construction standards with suppliers, aligning with our brand's quality expectations.
  • Ensure products are ready for bulk production, including quality assurance approval and tech pack accuracy.
  • Maintain records of product specifications, testing results, and quality control measures.
  • Ensure products meet regulatory and safety requirements, such as product labeling and packaging.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication and data management.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proven product development experience, particularly with footwear and accessories design and manufacturing.
  • Leather experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong negotiation skills are highly regarded, aiding in supplier management and product pricing discussions.
