About the role
Exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager to join our ANZ Rice Business Unit. Reporting to Marketing Director - Rice, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that increase our brand awareness, drive sales, and improve consumer, shopper and customer engagement for the ANZ Rice Category. This category is responsible for circa a $500M product portfolio which is growing rapidly. You will not be working alone You will work closely with ANZ and International cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, insights, and supply chain.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Leading the marketing plan development and implementation, including agency selection, agency direction and review, and A&P spend management.
Developing a consumer innovation pipeline and project managing that through to market execution.
Developing brand and new product launch marketing plans based on strong consumer and market understanding.
Supporting the ANZ Leadership team in developing short
- and long-term strategies for growth.
Supporting in the improvement of marketing team expertise and effective operations.
Taking responsibility for building relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and media.
About You
Being one of the primary brand custodians for SunRice and Riviana Rice, your will have a deep understanding of the ANZ market and be able to develop marketing initiatives that resonate with local consumers. Ideally you will also:
Tertiary qualified in commerce, advertising, or marketing.
Ideally 4 - 6 years’ experience in Marketing.
Have a proven track record of leading NPD launches.
Ideally have knowledge and experience of the food or branded FMCG industry.
Have a strong understanding of the ANZ consumer landscape, comfortable working with remote & overseas stakeholders.
Have solid commercial and financial acumen.
Be able to demonstrate the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
