About CES
We believe there is a better way to recycle that positively impacts individuals, communities, and the environment. Our mission is to increase recycling rates, rid the world of drink container litter, and empower community participation in an accredited circular economy.
We provide services and technology to enable the circular lifecycle of a drink container, from purchase to collection, through to recycling and remanufacturing. Our services include IT technology, payments, brand experience, customer support, and materials trading.
Container Exchange Services (CES) is a joint venture between Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Lion that was established to provide scalable and sustainable solutions for Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) in Australia and around the World. We power one of Australia’s largest recycling programs: Containers for Change.
As an organisation, we are in our third successful year of operation having grown rapidly in revenue and people. The business is undergoing massive growth through our existing recycling schemes and expanding into new states.
The role
Help us inspire people to recycle with Containers for Change. We have ambitious targets to keep drink containers out of oceans and landfill and transform them into resources that can be used again and again. As the Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our brand during a period of rapid geographical growth.
Whether helping to create physical brand experiences, deliver creative that drives behaviour change, and advertising that reaches the masses, for the right person this role will be both challenging and fulfilling.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Key responsibilities
- Build brand recognition by maintaining a powerful and relevant set of brand guidelines and assets.
- Work with agencies and designers to deliver strategic brand materials (e.g. a visual manifesto, or a brand book) that clearly communicates our mission and purpose and builds advocacy among key brand user groups.
- Help to create brand experiences that inspire people to participate in Containers for Change for the long term - for example, a brand experience toolkit to help improve the customer journey at the Refund Point and increase NPS and retention.
- Provide brand consultation and creative support to colleagues and stakeholders on the development of campaigns, experiences, POS, signage, content, the loyalty program and more.
- Develop content strategies that communicate the most relevant aspects of our brand.
- We’re local and community-driven. Our network includes hundreds of independent businesses and social enterprises that all proudly operate under the Containers for Change brand. Help us to foster a strong sense of brand pride and empower our network to get the most out of the brand.
- Report on the health of our brand using data from various tools and channels including surveys, google analytics, and power bi. Analyse the findings and make recommendations to continue growing our brand.
- Support the expansion of Containers for Change into new States, Territories, and Countries.
- Brief and manage agency partners and freelance producers to deliver projects on time and on budget. And manage project budgets, invoicing and finance administration.
About you
- You’re independent, like working autonomously, and relish a challenge.
- 6 - 8 years of relevant brand strategy and management experience in an agency, consultancy, or organisation where you’ve had to manage stakeholders.
- Experience working with franchise brands is a bonus
- You’re a strong conceptual thinker and who can seamlessly connect the why with the how when sharing ideas, giving feedback, or facilitating discussions.
- You actively practice critical thinking, making sure your communication is backed by strong analysis and logic.
- You have strong writing skills and love to get stuck into short and long form copywriting.
- You have exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships and influence accordingly.
- You’re a project management pro and take pride in delivering projects on time, within budget, and exceeding expectations.
