**About the Role**:
The Document Controller’s role is to assist the project in implementing and maintaining efficient and effective records and document management systems and associated procedures that meet corporate and best practice requirements.

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Implement document control procedures across a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with document control, information, and records management requirements.
- Maintain high level of document numbering and metadata standards to ensure compliance to agreed delivery protocols.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain transmittal and workflow distribution lists.
- Provide system support to end users both internal and external to the Project Delivery Team.
- Work closely with project teams to fully understand business needs with the aim of ensuring the best possible document control policy and process framework is developed appropriately.
- Undertake regular audits of TeamBinder to ensure compliance with metadata standards and agreed delivery protocols.
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in adapting to changing priorities.
- Proven initiative and the ability to prioritise tasks, schedule own tasks, work with minimum guidance and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to gain the cooperation of management and people at various levels.
- Experience in the operation, maintenance and administration of web-based collaboration systems such as TeamBinder, Aconex, iTWOcx, etc.
- Proficient with document control practices and protocols for engineering and design documents.
- An understanding of quality processes and experience with capturing these in documentation.
- Knowledge of system auditing practices to ensure adherence to policy.
- Experience of the construction delivery project lifecycle.
- Well‐developed analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
