Notting Hill, Australia IPA Personnel Services Full time

Our client is after a Payroll and Accounts Payable person to join their team, this is a 4 day per week role with the ability to work from home 1 day per week.

You must have Payroll experience and preferably in a Manufacturing environment.

***Skills**:

- A knowledge of local payroll compliance and statutory reporting requirements
- Significant experience in the use of in-house Micropay payroll system and/or Pronto accounting package would be considered favourably.
- Knowledge of WorkCover Administration.
- Attention to detail.
- An ability to communicate well at all levels.

**Position Description**:
Payroll
- ensuring that the weekly and monthly employee payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner and employees are paid on time
- ensuring all payroll related journals are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- ensuring payroll related taxes and superannuation contributions are paid as required and recorded accurately in the General Ledger
- ensuring that all payroll balance sheet items are properly reconciled on a monthly basis and related adjusting journals are processed within the subsequent month
- ensuring all monthly standing journals are processed.
- maintaining the weekly employee register of RDO entitlements
- Administration of Work Cover system.

Accounts Payable
- ensuring that all supplier invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner and supported by delivery dockets (where applicable) and agreed to appropriately authorised purchase orders
- reviewing supplier statements to identify all supplier invoices have been processed.
- creation and recording EFT payments using the electronic banking system and through Pronto.
- ensuring that all accounts payable are properly reconciled on a monthly basis and related adjusting journals are processed within the subsequent month
