**About the role**:
West HQ is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive individual to join our Finance Team as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Officer. This role is a full-time position working from Monday to Friday and includes some Accounts Receivable tasks.

This position is based within our friendly and helpful Finance Team, focusing on managing AP function and some AR tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

**Tasks and responsibilities of the role include but not limited to**:

- Full function of Accounts Payable processes - including administrating and using an online Purchase Ordering and Invoice Approval System, automated invoice scanning/processing system, invoice interfacing and some manual invoice data entry to system
- Checking non-matching orders and invoices (pricing, coding, limits, authority, validity, etc)
- Communicating with suppliers and responding to queries
- Follow up queries direct with suppliers and employees
- Reconciliation of corporate credit cards and staff reimbursements
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the AP and Fixed Assets Register
- Processing of invoices and reconciliation of month-end supplier statements
- Establishing new supplier accounts and maintenance of accurate up-to-date vendor information
- Process Payment Runs as required
- Accounts Receivable function - Raising AR invoices (monthly) and Receipting.
- Providing general administrative support to the Finance Team (including providing month end invoice accruals)

**Who are we looking for?**

Someone who has:

- Highly developed organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to manage AP and AR functions autonomously
- Experience with accounts payable processes and accounting systems
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well in a team and liaise directly with suppliers and internal stake holders
- General accounting knowledge on managing purchase order systems
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role
