Exciting opportunity to provide Finance & Administration support to a State Government department based SOR

**Your new company**
An exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a State Government department based in Kensington. This role requires you to work full-time hours, for a minimum of 6 months. This department is based conveniently near public transport and requires someone available to start asap

**Your new role**
As an experienced Finance & Administration Officer you will be responsible for taking on a range of office duties, in which will support the workflow of a busy team. Your duties will include:

- Preparing financial reports
- Credit card reconciliation
- Accounts payable
- Expenditure transfer
- Aid the Executive Assistant with processing ministerial’s & general correspondence
- Word processing 7 document filing
- Tracking registers

**What you'll need to succeed**
Previous experience in a similar role within a Government department is desirable. You will also have experience in the following:

- Providing administrative support to a team.
- A working knowledge of Oracle & Objective
- Experience with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks.
- Time management
- Financial management skills
- Good communication
