Exciting opportunity to join a State Government Department as a Communications Officer

A State Government Department is looking for an Communications Officer to join their team. This role requires you to work full time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**

As an experienced an Communications Officer your daily duties will include but won’t be limited to:

- Undertakes project management and coordination of communication projects
- Develop of content with a strong emphasis on digital and online channels
- Assists in developing and implementing activities to raise awareness of Energy Policy
- Ensure Energy Policy WA’s information products meet a high standard of consistency in discoverability, quality and readability
- Liaise with the Energy Policy project teams and with stakeholders to support communication activities

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Highly developed written and editorial skills
- Experience in adapting technical information for a wider audience
- Experience in the development and production of online information services
- Experience in using project coordination or project management tools
