**Communications Support Officer**

**Your new company**
Our client based in Perth is looking for a Communications support officer for a temporary period. This is a great opportunity to work within a government department

**Your new role**
As a Communications Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Support with Procurement / purchasing matters
- Requisitions, purchases and receipts goods and services
- Coordinate a broad range of internal communications
- Responsible for the liaison with stakeholders on procurement matters
- Event planning support
- Media monitoring
- Inbox monitoring, responding, and logging
- Maintain office records and filing systems
- Supporting media events as required
- Any other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
Experience in the similar position required but also:

- Well-developed written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan and deliver communications, media events, activities, and materials
- High level of self-motivation
- Relevant experience working within an administrative environment
