**Job Title: Accounting Services Officer**
**Contract Length: Temporary (ASAP Start, 3 months)**
**Location: Local Council South Eastern Suburbs Melbourne**
**About the Role**: Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Services Officer to join their dynamic team for a temporary contract to cover leave. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of an organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the community. There are hybrid WFH arrangements available.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process payment requests and invoices within the specified timeframes outlined in the accounting timetable.
- Maintain and update creditors' master files with accurate information, including banking details.
- Process payments via cheque and EFT, submitting EFT payments for release by authorized approvers.
**Job Requirements**:
- Previous experience in government, not-for-profit, education organizations, or mid to large-scale entities in a similar role.
- **Experience with TechnologyOne/FinanceOne and Kofax necessary
