**Description**:
As Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Account Manager, Project Manager and Project Supervisors. This is an office based role, coordinating multiple project plans, managing site supervisor's diaries and ordering of stock etc.
The key focus of the role is the efficient coordination of all trades, regular communication with all stakeholders and reporting of all facets for current and new projects - these are mainly refurbishments within the Aged Care Sector.
The role is located in our Head Office in Gladesville, Sydney with on-site parking.
What you will be doing
- Work closely with the Project Manager and the Project Supervisors to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of each project
- Coordinate materials and trades required for multiple concurrent projects
- Manage project timelines and variations to the existing scope of works
- Create Purchase Orders and order supplies
- Coordinate start-up meetings for new projects
- Compile all project documentation and certification, eg drawings
- Regular phone and e mail communication with all stakeholders eg contractors, the internal team and clients
- Prepare regular reports on the progress of all current jobs, the completion of projects as well as new project start-ups
- Track actual project costs versus budget; prepare relevant reports
- Assist with tenders and the estimating process for new projects
**Skills and Experiences**:
You will have
To be successful in this role, you will have worked for a minimum of 2 - 3 years in a coordination / administrative support role in a Construction or Project Management environment.
- Previous experience of coordinating multiple construction / refurbishment projects
- Ability to plan all the required resources and adjust time lines if necessary
- Demonstrated experience of managing / coordinating projects
- Very sound knowledge of Construction industry standards - essential
- Superior time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and execute a high volume of tasks
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation
- Professional phone manner with the ability to adjust communication and adapt to the audience
- Highly developed written communication skills and report writing experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- NSW WHS policy awareness
- Demonstrated high level computer skills required - Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, excel - intermediate level
- Microsoft Project experience - required
- Previous experience of Accounting and Job Management systems eg Navision or similar - advantage
- Fully vaccinated in COVID 19
Qualifications and experience
- Qualifications in Construction or Project Management - Certificate IV: ideal
- Construction administration experience - preferred
- Current Drivers licence
- Current NSW Police Check
