
Contracts and Procurement Coordinator

Pay Rate: $41-$45 per hour plus super

**About the Role**
The Contracts and Procurement Coordinator provides procurement guidelines and assists stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement and contracts registration and maintenance activities to effectively meet organisational and business objectives
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update procurement records and generate reports on procurement and contract activity
- Maintain and update intranet contents on contracts and procurement policy and procedures
- Compile and source market information, and assist in analysing markets and spent data to assist procurement planning and sourcing decisions and monitor benefit realisations during the lifecycle of
contracted services
- Support sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures and participate in negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements
- Implement and contribute to the development of contract management plans, resolve issues, monitor performance and negotiate contract variations
- Provide advice, information and guidance on procurement related matters to staff across the agency
- Identify, mitigate and escalate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and escalate procurement and contract management issues where required
**Key Knowledge and Experience**
- Relevant tertiary degree and experiences in procurement and purchasing function by using lare ERP systems in large public and private sector
- Excellent attention to detail and ensure procurement policy compliance and ensure value for money is achieved in contracts and procurement activities
- Sound knowledge and understanding of health or government procurement and purchasing procedures and ability to create internal understanding and buy-in of the benefits of compliant procurement
management
- Superior written and verbal communication skills as the role requires interaction with Executives and other staff internal to NSW Ambulance in relation to coordinating procurement plans, tender management, contract management
- Highly developed applied project coordination skills used to support procurement projects for completion on agreed timelines and budget
- Ability to recognise, and respond to, risks or issues across the procurements for both simple and complex projects within scope of the program
- Possess the capacity to actively participate as a procurement project team member, collaborating with the stakeholders on all procurement related matters that are sensitive or that may require escalation for
resolution
- Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and high level data analysis and analytics presentation skills
- Required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
