**Job Description**:
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Liaise closely with the Manager, fellow colleagues and admissions team, as well as external agencies such as the Department of Home Affairs (HA), Overseas Student Health Care (OSHC) provider Allianz and other educational institutions, in relation to compliance with relevant Australian and State government legislation.
- Manage staff including recruitment, induction, training, supervision, performance management and mentoring to develop a culture of high performance balanced against service and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate operations associated with the administration of the international student admissions cycle and manage processing and turnaround times.
- Lead compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders for the shared goal of delivering on the University’s objectives.
**What we can offer**
This is a continuing, full-time position and is primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $93,854 - $101,680 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $109,809 - $118,965 per annum.
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience.
- High level professional competence and understanding of student admissions.
- A proven track record in managing, developing, and motivating a team to ensure morale is high whilst operational objectives and targets are met.
- Capability to monitor and regularly review systems, procedures and processes appropriate to student admissions.
- Demonstrated high level communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, particularly in the provision of support, advice and relationship management.
