**Job Description**:
Provide a range of high-level executive, strategy and research support services to our Vice Chancellor, Chief of Staff and Head of Government Relations.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will be a key member of the Vice Chancellor’s Office and will relish working in a close-knit team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to work with, and learn from, dynamic and impactful leaders in their respective fields.
The role also provides the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and committees, using your organisation, analytical and research skills to support University wide strategic initiatives.
As the Executive Strategy and Research Analyst you will:
- Undertake research and analysis for the Vice Chancellor, Chief of Staff and Head of Government Relations, including the collation and analysis of data from internal data management systems and external sources, and prepare recommendations, reports, guidelines, briefings, discussion and strategy papers.
- Research and develop presentations and speeches for the Vice Chancellor for a broad range of external and internal engagements including conference presentations and the University’s flagship events.
- Support the Chief of Staff in managing projects to support University wide strategic initiatives, including coordination of expertise across the University, external engagement, event management, managing deadlines and monitoring project resources.
- Provide executive and project management support to the Head of Government Relations as part of the University’s government engagement activities. At times this will include liaison with elected officials and government officials and/or their representatives.
- Provide high level executive support to University committees and working parties, including assisting with the preparation of agendas, papers, coordination of meeting arrangements and tracking of action items.
**What we can offer**
HEW Level 7 position with a base salary of $87,632 - $94,940 per annum. Total salary package including 17% employer superannuation from $102,529 - $111,079 per annum.
This is a full-time continuing position based at the Griffith University Nathan campus.
As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
**Qualifications**:
As a highly motivated individual, you will enjoy working with colleagues at levels across the University. Your standout communication and interpersonal skills allow you to be adaptable and confident in engaging with the leadership group and external stakeholders.
- Completion of degree level qualification with relevant experience, or relevant experience and specialist knowledge or relevant combination
- Solutions focused with a demonstrated ability to understand complex problems and develop solutions
- Experience in researching and writing content for various mediums of communication
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, strong planning, and prioritising abilities with a good understanding of projects, processes, and systems
- Ability to Identify and understand problems and opportunities by gathering, analysing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information
- Present professionally and enjoy building relationships and engaging with stakeholders
- Have a strong desire to learn and grow as a professional
- Highly developed computer literacy including advanced MS-Office
