**Position Overview**
- Reporting to the Team Leader Environment and Regulatory Services, you will contribute to the protection and enhancement of public health and the environment by implementing regulatory programs across environmental health, food safety, and onsite wastewater management.
- **Key Responsibilities**- Administer regulatory functions under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, Local Government Act 1993, Food Act 2003, and Public Health Act 2010, including associated regulations.
- Conduct inspections and respond to service requests within corporate timeframes, ensuring outcomes are documented and communicated effectively.
- Support data collection and contribute to environmental health reporting requirements.-
- **About you**
- To be successful in this position you will demonstrate:

- Tertiary level qualifications in Environmental Health, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Proven mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and ability to liaise effectively and professionally with external bodies
- Ability to work autonomously to meet given targets and to work well and contribute proactively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work outside of, and in addition to, normal hours of work
- Ability to provide efficient and effective customer service
