**The role**:
The Human Resources team is critical to APG’s success and the development of a positive culture.

Our newly created HR Business Partner will work collaboratively to provide a broad range of expert advice and support services to our most important asset - Our People

Working closely with the EGM HR, you will play a key support role to employees and people leaders alike across the end-to-end employee life cycle. You’ll bring a commercially savvy, people-focused approach to making change happen, working closely with the APG leaders to provide seamless support and service delivery. Specifically, this role you will be required to:

- Partner with leaders and employees on a wide range of employee life-cycle matters across the business and provide coaching and support on a range of human resources matters.
- Support the development and implement of HR projects and change management practices to support the creation of a positive culture.
- Partner, advise and coach leaders across several sites, enabling leaders to be successful
- Demonstrate forward thinking and ability to think clearly in an environment of ambiguity.
- Assist in the management of workers’ compensation claims and WHS systems.
- Advise on employee related matters seeking to achieve a positive outcome where possible.

- Experience partnering with Operations in a blue collar environment.
- Problem solving skills and collaborative team player with strong communication skills to implement positive change.
- A proactive and structured approach and you are not afraid to get involved and contribute.
- Commercial savviness and skill to navigate the fine line of commercial v best practice v compliance.
- A true leadership and growth mindset - including the ability to see the bigger picture, truly empower teams & make effective collaboration second nature.
- Accredited qualification in Human Resources
- A goal oriented approach with the ability to work independently, establish priorities and be organised under time constraints
- Strong and exceptional communication skills that drives positivity and engagement across the team
- Ability to travel as required for the role
