Information Access Officer

**About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to facilitate medico legal and other requests for access to clinical information held at the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (TPCH facilities). All requests are processed in accordance with state and commonwealth legislation, and the policies and procedures of the Metro North HHS and TPCH, to ensure optimum service delivery outcomes are achieved.
About you
Consult and communicate with executive management, clinicians, managerial and administrative staff in facilitating and coordinating clinical information requests or other matters.
Liaise with Queensland, interstate and Federal police services in order to manage requests for access to information. These requests will include search warrants and other access mechanisms.
Participate in the Right to Information / Information Privacy training and ongoing professional development activities.
