About the Role
- The Information Access Officer is responsible for responding to requests for information and support from external and internal clients in accordance with State and Commonwealth legislation, Queensland Health and facility policy and legislation under the RTI/IP Act 2009 and the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011.
- Determine the correct protocol and release mechanism appropriate to the typeand specific needs of the request as required.
- Process requests for health information as per current policy, procedures, legislative, administrative and court ordered access mechanisms, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality guidelines are enforced.
