**About the role**

Are you ready to take the next step in your broadcast media career? This **12-month parental leave cover** role offers the chance to help shape Youi’s customer growth and retention strategies through effective, results-driven media investments.

You’ll work on campaign execution, performance analysis, and optimisation to ensure our broadcast media investments drive profitable growth.

**Ways of working**

This position can be situated at either our headquarters on the Sunshine Coast or in our Fortitude Valley office.

We operate with a hybrid approach, requiring office presence from Tuesday to Thursday at either location, while offering the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

If you are based in Brisbane, you will be required to travel to HQ two days per week.

**Key priorities**
- Execute, and optimise TV, OOH, and audio campaigns.
- Support planning, provide feedback on media proposals, and manage campaign delivery.
- Collaborate with Creative teams and build strong media relationships.
- Stay informed on broadcast media trends to adapt buying strategies.
- Manage budgets and ensure accurate spend tracking and reconciliation.
- Update media trackers and report on campaign performance with actionable insights.
- Negotiate short-term deals to secure cost-efficient outcomes.
- Ensure media placements align with strategic direction and brand values, while managing key partnerships.

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in media buying, with proven expertise in TV buying and campaign implementation across offline channels (2+ years is a general indicator).
- Experience with online video platforms (YouTube, Facebook, BVOD) is a plus.
- Proficient in TV platforms such as Spectra, MediaWise (Optim8), TVmap, and eTAM.
- Familiarity with digital tools like Facebook Ads Manager, Google DV360, and Campaign Manager preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organisational and project management abilities, handling complex, multi-faceted campaigns.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Negotiation expertise with a focus on building and sustaining partner relationships.
- Proactive and accountable, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
- High integrity, professionalism, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
