Russell, Australia Australian Government Department of Defence Full time

$88,175 - $100,724 (plus Super)
- Russell - ACT

**The Role**
Within the Land Autonomy's Coordination and Governance function, the position will be the key liaison officer to a breadth of industry and academic partners in the emerging technology sector and will develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. The position will represent the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Implementation Coordination Office (RICO) publicly across the wealth of industry engagement events including university open days, Land Forces, and Chief of Army Symposium.

The Project Office communications campaign requires continually stoking market interest and sending tailored demand signals to academia and industry to ramp up sovereign capability and capacity to meet future Army RAS requirements. To achieve this, the Specialist will seek creative ways to engage technology innovators outside of the existing Defence industry community, increase open communication between the Project Office and industry and academic partners, and improving industry awareness of Army’s interest and needs relating to RAS and enabling technologies.

A targeted communications strategy will include industry engagement events, such as the Army Robotics Expo (ARX), to promote RICO and Army as the innovation partner of choice.

**About our Team**

With the RICO, the team will be collectively responsible for acquiring knowledge by defining, developing, and testing RAS technology and conceptual alternatives in the context of the land domain’s specific autonomy challenges for the Future Land Force.
