Reporting to the Country Head of GTRF, The Head of Product GTRF is a pivotal client facing role as the interface between sales, industry and our clients. Your focus will be leading product and proposition capabilities and commercialisation, product strategy, technology initiatives and innovation including partnerships with industry players, FinTechs.
You will provide product expertise to key stakeholders within and outside of GTRF, developing partnerships to take product offerings to the next level. Drawing on your existing presence and connection with industry, you will understand what clients need in an age of emerging innovative practices encompassing Blockchain, FinTech, ESG and sustainable finance amongst others.
**Responsibilities**:
- In collaboration with global and regional teams, designing a go to market product strategy with inputs from key internal and external stakeholders, industry trends including ESG / sustainable products and digital innovation.
- Staying abreast of market developments in digital platforms space and bring innovative product and partnership ideas for GTRF Australia.
- Driving the commercialisation of GTRF product and proposition solutions and platforms in Australia, working closely with front line sales teams.
- Driving digital product innovation and adoption of industry best practice in co-ordination with Regional Head of Product & Proposition and Regional Head of Implementation to deliver best in class methodologies, tools & techniques, leveraging Blockchain and FinTech Landscape as part of the end-to-end product fulfilment lifecycle in Australia.
- Working with Country Head of GTRF to build critical components in the Annual Technology Plan (ATP) working with global and regional counterparts to support the Australia product strategy.
- Managing the product financials including revenue, cost and other key indicators.
- In line with global and regional product roadmap, designing the Implementation and governance of products to adhere to local regulatory frameworks.
- As the product expert, building training roadshow nationally for front line teams as well internal risk stewards to upskill the understanding of GTRF products, and educating the teams on market / industry trends.
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Be a strategic thinker with ability to think innovatively with significant experience in global trade finance business, ideally within a global financial services organisation.
- Extensive global commercial banking and relationship management experience including in-depth knowledge of the Global Trade & Receivables Finance business, specifically Structured Trade Finance.
- Sound knowledge and sense of market practices, global trends, digital platforms and FinTechs.
- Highly developed management skills, with experience in managing a wide range of projects in Australia.
- Be a strong independent contributor, who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode, on multiple assignments, where the stakeholders will often be global and culturally diverse.
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills coupled with ability to design and define solutions that add value to customer relationships.
- Knowledge of Product Methodologies, Tools & Techniques to design and execute on product development strategy.
