About the role

The Master Data Management Officer will provide a high level of effective and efficient Master Data (MDM) services. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure data is correctly entered into financial systems. The role will require a strong understanding of compliance requirements and collaboration with stakeholders to resolve issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check requests (new, change, termination) for accuracy and completeness
- Process requests (new, change, termination) that are complete and accurate
- Carry out data cleansing requirements and regularly monitor the completeness and accuracy of records & information
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders with account queries and resolve any discrepancies in a professional manner
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to businesses and suppliers
- Report on Key Performance Indicators’ performance as needed
- Proactively resolve issues and raise to the Transaction Processing Manager when appropriate
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and review with Transaction Processing Manager

Knowledge and experience
- 2+ years’ experience in administration
- Sound data entry and administration experience
- Advanced MS Office skills, with high degree of confidence in MS Excel
- Experience using financial systems including ERP and electronic workflow solutions (Maconomy & Spectra desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements and frameworks
- Flexible and adaptable demeanour amidst an environment of constant change
