NSW Government Opportunity paying great rate : $480 per day + Super - Parramatta /Working from Home option - 9 months contract + view of extension **Primary purpose of the role** You will play a pivotal role in managing the flow of communication and advice between the Environment and Heritage Group and Ministers' offices and should have the ability to prioritise requests, manage workloads and exercise independent sound judgement in an environment of tight timelines and high volumes. **Key Responsabilities** - Research, prepare and coordinate the compilation of complex/controversial/sensitive material in final form for the Coordinator General’s or Minister’s review. For example, correspondence, briefing materials, Parliamentary documents, reports, and ministerial events/visits and meeting packages to ensure documents are complete, accurate, timely, consistent with protocols and standards and feasible options are provided where appropriate. - Lead, manage and implement major projects/initiatives including the preparation of a range of project related documentation for key stakeholders to ensure milestones and targets are achieved. - Maintain a strategic overview of issues that may impact on work programs or the wider work of DPIE by monitoring and assessing emerging issues and evaluating their impact on the organisation in order to predict potentially controversial or politically sensitive issues that may arise so appropriate responses can be developed. - Experience in providing high level advice and support on complex/sensitive/controversial issues at the Ministerial or senior executive level. - Sound understanding of the machinery of Government, the policy process and relevant legislation. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal business units, private partners and external stakeholders. - Project management experience. **If this sounds like you PLEASE APPLY NOW** **Applications received after the** **_due date _** **may be considered for similar roles.** **_"Indigeco Acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and Recognise our Brothers & Sisters Connection to Land, Waters and Community._** **_We pay our Respects to our Brothers & Sisters our Culture & to our Elders past, present & future"._
