Seeking an experienced Government Contract Manager to join a team outside of Perth CBD, starting ASAP

**Your new company**

A government organisation based outside of Perth CBD are seeking an experienced Contract Manager with government experience to join a team. This role would be required to start as soon as possible, working on an initial temporary contract for 5-months plus possible extension. In this role you will be required to work full-time hours and will be paid on a competitive hourly rate.

**Your new role**

As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex and high-value contracts for the department. Your key duties will include:

- Developing, implementing, documenting and evaluating contracts
- Managing negotiations and consultations with key stakeholders around contract matters
- Developing contract management plans in line with government frameworks
- Developing contract and tender documents, including key performance indicators
- Maintain a register of all contract and procurement documentation
- Assisting the Director with procurement processes and ICT processes

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous contract management and procurement experience
- Previous experience working in a government organisation
- Advanced written communication skills with confidence in drafting a contract
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills with confidence in negotiating with stakeholders
- Excellent ICT skills with confidence in navigating Microsoft Office systems
