At Blue Illusion, where passion meets purpose, we are seeking a proactive and driven Buyer's Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our Buying team and play a vital part in bringing our French-inspired fashion to life.

Based at our vibrant St Kilda Retail Support Centre, this Full-Time role provides the perfect opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to the success of our brand. Join a team that nurtures talent and empowers individuals to grow their skills in buying, product development, and supplier coordination.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Act as the first point of contact for the Buying department, managing internal and external inquiries.
- Support the Senior Buyer in executing product development and range planning.
- Maintain accurate product data across all platforms to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare, publish, and maintain various internal reports.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information and maintain supplier relationships.
- Oversee and coordinate the tracking of product samples to ensure timely availability.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer demands.
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team as required.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in a Buying Assistant or similar role in retail is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail with strong follow-up skills.
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable.
- Tertiary education in Fashion, Marketing, Business, or Commerce is desirable but not essential.
