The opportunity

Grays is building a high performing FP&A function to support the growth in the business. This is a new position, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning, which will play an important role in the provision of improved management reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting & forecasting, to help deliver commercial insights and decision support to the senior leadership team.

The role

Key responsibilities include:

- Assistance with preparation of detailed information for budgets and reforecasts.
- Utilising Business Intelligence tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance - this will include improving existing reports, assisting with design & creation of new reports & dashboards, and using ‘dimensions’ to analyse results
- Assist with conducting financial analysis and sensitivities on business cases to support decision making on investments, strategic initiatives, or business opportunities.
- High quality ad hoc financial modelling and data analysis
- Conducting research to assist with provision of market insights and trends influencing business performance - competition, industry, eCommerce etc.
- Working collaboratively within the FP&A team and with the broader Finance team to provide a high value service to the business.

About you

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- 5+ years’ experience in data analysis in either a corporate or professional services environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Quality and continuous improvement mindset
- Proactive and can work independently
- Attention to detail, structured thinker, well organised and hands on
- Strong financial modelling and problem-solving skills
- Analytical skillset with the ability to work with, interpret data and draw meaningful insights
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using BI reporting and data analysis tools (Calumo experience highly regarded / preferred)
- Experience using a planning and budgeting system (preferable)
- Experience in online auction marketplace / industry highly regarded

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
