Seeking Passionate Community Focused Team Leader to Manage a Positive Council Image

**Your new company**
You will be working with One of our larger City Councils assisting an established and professional team that are seeing a new Team Leader to manage their Brand Communications. This Council are focused on constantly upskilling, educating and advocating for their community. Internal focus involves monitoring progress of events and activities as well as facilitating these events for the Council members.

**Your new role**
For this role you will be managing a small team of Internal Communications Specialists to deliver a positive brand image for your Council. You will be developing and implementing large and/or complex communication plans, providing accurate specialist advice on writing corporate brand and advertising, undertaking tender processes, management of the publications + brand budget and overseeing further processes. You will be responsible for making decisions regarding the implementation of Council brand / style-guide and provide advice on the corporate brand.

Your new role encourages you to utilise your creative thinking and exhibit innovation to solve complex communication problems. You will be the lead on development suggestions and implementations into the market.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in producing large communication strategies
- Team Leader experience
- Have highly developed research and analytical skills
- Prior Public Sector / Australian Government experience
- Bachelor degree in communications/public relations/ media studies
- Recent National Police Check
