Are you a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a passion for brand management and media communications? We're looking for a Brand and Media Communications Manager to elevate our brand presence both locally and globally. In this hybrid role, you'll work closely with our Global Head of Marketing and collaborate with Business Leaders to shape our global brand positioning. You'll be at the forefront of external and sales communication, media relations, and creative execution, ensuring our brand stands out consistently and powerfully.
Your mission will be to replicate our strong brand presence outside of Australia, defending and amplifying our brand globally. You'll define and execute the global brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and alignment with business goals. You'll develop and lead the media strategy (traditional & digital), focusing on brand awareness, social media presence, influencer partnerships, and thought leadership to ensure a cohesive brand experience. Additionally, you'll lead the identification and implementation of innovative media channels, trends, and technologies to maintain the brand's relevance and competitive edge.
Role responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the global brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and alignment with business goals.- Develop and lead the media strategy (traditional & digital), focusing on brand awareness, social media presence, influencer partnerships, and thought leadership to ensure a cohesive brand experience.- Lead the identification and implementation of innovative media channels, trends, and technologies to maintain the brand's relevance and competitive edge.- Work closely with cross functional to ensure that brand messaging aligns with overall business objectives, contributing to a seamless customer experience.- Oversee and integrate sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives into brand communication, positioning the brand as a responsible, future-focused leader in its industry.- Jointly manage corporate communications, including crisis management, with Internal Communications to protect and enhance brand reputation.- Develop and produce sales communication and collateral, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and effectively supporting the sales team with tools like presentations, brochures, and product sheets.- Lead the creative team and external agencies to ensure high-quality content production across all digital, print, and media channels.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Experience: 5+ years in B2B marketing with proven experience in brand management and communications.- Media Savvy: Experience with Australian media is highly regarded.- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; business English fluency is required.- Campaign Expertise: Proven expertise in designing and executing detailed, targeted campaigns.- Tech Skills: Strong skills in CRM and electronic direct marketing, with a focus on leveraging Marketing Cloud. Experience with basic design tools (e.g., Canva) and dashboard tools is an advantage.- Team Player: A reliable, detailed, and focused individual who enjoys working and collaborating within a creative team.- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, tight timelines, and some ambiguity with ease.- International Experience: Experience working with varying markets and understanding local contexts and perceptions.
