We're REA
With bold and ambitious goals,
REA Group
is changing the way the world experiences property. No matter where you're at on your property journey, we're here to help with every step - whether that's finding or financing your next home.
Our people are the key to our success. At the heart of everything we do, is a thriving culture centred around high performance and care. We are purpose driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact. As such, we’re proud to have been named in Australia’s “Top 5” Best Workplaces two years in a row, as well as being recognised as a Best Workplace for Women.
Where the team fits in
This role sits within Customer Marketing, part of the broader Customer Group, a team dedicated to building deeper, more valuable connections with our customers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Events & Sponsorship, you’ll deliver best-in-class experiences and high-impact moments that matter. Every event you lead will reinforce REA’s value, build loyalty and elevate sentiment among customers and internal teams alike.
What the role is all about
No two days are the same. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where variety, creativity and collaboration are key. You’ll lead a diverse portfolio of events, from premium B2B activations to industry events, internal celebrations, and incentive experiences - delivering with precision and flair.
Day to day, you will:
- Plan and deliver end-to-end events with autonomy and excellence
- Execute a variety of event programs, including:
- Customer events
- High-end incentive experiences
- Premium hospitality program
- Internal events and major moments for our people
- Play a role in strategic planning across the customer experience program
- Manage budgets, contracts and approvals, ensuring timely payments and compliance
- Contribute to and maintain an accurate master events calendar
- Stay on top of market trends and competitor activity to inform our event strategy
- Produce post-event reporting and ROI analysis, with recommendations for future improvements
- Travel and attend out-of-hours events (we make sure time is given back—this isn’t a 9-5 role)
- Deliver all events on time, on budget, and to a consistently high standard
- Work cross-functionally across REA to ensure alignment and integration
Who we’re looking for
- 10+ years in event management
- Proven ability to deliver in high-growth, high-performance environments
- Strong project management skills across concept, planning, execution and evaluation
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of the business
- Experience delivering large-scale (500+) and international events
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Experience leveraging event tech and platforms (e.g. EventsAir)
- Confident communicator with the presence to influence and inspire
- Skilled at working across multiple segments and fast-moving teams
The REA experience
The physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about. This is a place to learn and grow.
