Melbourne, Australia CPS IT Consulting Full time

CPS IT Consulting is supporting a long standing client recruit for a Systems Analyst for a Permanent full time position.

Our client is an acclaimed private school with Campuses across Melbourne and Interstate. Our client is regarded as one of Australia's best schools.

The role is based out of the Head Campus in the outer Eastern Suburbs with some work flexibility.

The Compensation and Benefits offered are extensive and include:

- $80-90k Salary
- 11% Superannuation

- 4 Weeks annual leave + Additional leave between Christmas and New Year + Monday before Melbourne Cup Day

**About the role**:
The role has three main functions:

- Business analysis and process improvement
- Technical lead
- Application support and management

Primary Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate information systems upgrades with impact analysis and mitigation planning with the Team's manager
- Assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing business systems operations to establish a baseline for developing improved structures, processes, and possibly new systems.
- Produce as-built documentation for new systems, when necessary, with the help of other teams in the ICT Department.

Key selection criteria required:

- Highly developed communications skills, both written and oral
- Strong skills in business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder and project management.
- Demonstrate capabilities in identifying and escalating technical issues when required
- Strong ability to identify gaps and inefficiencies in business processes propose/implement solutions
- Advanced knowledge of data integration, automation, business intelligence tools and processes
- Advanced skillsets in understanding SQL queries and database structures
- Advanced knowledge of Crystal Reports
- Knowledge of ITIL
