Downer Rail & Transit Systems division has an exciting opportunity for an **Exam Maintenance Delivery Manager** to join our team in VIC - Pakenham

The High-Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) Project is a Victorian Government initiative and a $2.3 billion investment in Victoria’s rolling stock industry.

This is an opportunity for you to work on iconic rolling stock projects with a high performing team. The Exam Maintenance Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing employees in their daily activities to meet train maintenance exam schedules and exceed Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People targets. Working in close liaison with the Maintenance Delivery Manager on duty to ensure Exams are completed and sets made available as per the schedule.

This role will maximise the utilisation of resources and assets through the effective coordination and planning of the exam activities required to meet organisational objectives and exceed customer expectations. Working a **variable roster of mornings & afternoons** this position will provide lineside technical supervision and support to the multi skilled workforce in ensuring exam work is carried out to the correct standards and time frames.**This role is a full-time
- one year contract.**

**Ideally, you will have the following experience**:

- Trade or Tertiary qualified
- Cert 4 in leadership or management
- Lean experience - advantageous
- Significant leadership experience, driving a high-performance accountable workforce
- Proven experience in maintenance - rollingstock or similar
- Team player with outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills
- Proven ability to work under strict deadlines and challenging environments
- Demonstrated leadership that strives towards the commitment to Zero Harm
