**Team Summary**
This role based in Sydney reports to the Director, Client Marketing and is a key member of the Visa marketing team - a high-performing team responsible for our brand health and delivering best in class consumer, B2B, client and merchant marketing to drive business growth across Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AuNZSP).
The Assistant Manager role is responsible for managing the planning and delivery of marketing activities for a number of our key clients in Australia. Responsibilities include planning, design, implementation and optimisation of acquisition, usage and engagement programs for our client’s Retail and Business bank customer’s Everyday Banking Accounts, transaction accounts and credit card portfolios. The remit includes full funnel marketing campaign execution from product awareness, consideration, new-to-bank (NTB) acquisition through to onboarding, retention, portfolio and engagement initiatives.
**What an Assistant Manager, Client Marketing does at Visa**
- Contributes to the planning of an annual marketing calendar for each of our clients and merchants
- Assists with developing communications strategies and integrated marketing campaign plans for our client marketing projects
- Assists with marketing services and campaign proposal development
- Project management of marketing programs to ensure we exceed client expectations with our execution and delivery
- Manages the creative and content development of campaigns. Works with agency partners to develop and execute high quality campaigns that are on time and on budget
- Partners with our Marketing team members on campaign components including merchant marketing, creative, media and sponsorships
- Manages the project financial processes and budget
- Monitors results and delivers optimisation recommendations to increase the effectiveness of campaigns
- Contributes to the post implementation report for each client campaign/project reporting on performance, learnings and actions
- Partners with the Director, Marketing BPO for the pipeline management, operating expenses and revenue associated with client marketing campaigns/projects.
- Engages with the Account Executives to keep them up to date on client activities and resolve any queries.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

What you will need
- Passionate about marketing
- Formal qualifications in marketing mandatory with proven experience in managing great campaigns
- 5+ years account management experience in an agency or experience in a marketing team
- Exposure to banking and financial services marketing would be ideal
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Client focused mind-set
- Experience in communication and campaign strategy and plan development
- Experience with presentation development
- Experience in campaign delivery to be effective in managing and guiding agencies across creative, media, digital, social and below the line activities
- Strong attention to detail and deadline driven
- Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project/program management skills to successfully manage multiple, initiatives
- Commercially minded - good with financials, managing budgets and forecasting
