About the Team
Data Transformation is a branch within the broader Mobility and Insights division of the Department of Transport, which is responsible for the delivery of better outcomes for users of the transport system through developing and coordinating customer and transport system insights, strategy and innovation.
About the role
The Delivery Lead sits within the Data Transformation branch and is responsible for leading cross functional teams, working collaboratively with business areas, technology teams and data and analytics colleagues to successfully plan, execute and deliver data and analytics projects and improvement initiatives via a range of delivery methodologies. In this role you will help prioritise work into delivery roadmaps and allocate available resources, setting up delivery programs for success.

**Duties include**:

- Develop an agreed roadmap of projects and improvement initiatives, incorporating client-focused design and feedback exercises to understand and address the priorities and needs of the end user.
- Provide timely and high-quality advice, analyses and reporting on the status of projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, enabling multidisciplinary cross functional delivery teams to work together effectively to deliver improved business and customer value through data and analytics.
- Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.

About you
You are customer and improvement focussed, demonstrate success designing and delivering client focussed change, have well-developed project management, data literacy, interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to identify emerging issues, trends and risks, and the expertise to resolve complex operational and sensitive stakeholder problems.
Mandatory Qualifications and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in traditional project management and agile delivery.
