The Principal Delivery Lead is responsible for engagement with health services to develop and execute plans to implement the Department of Health's Victorian Health Information Exchange (HIE) solution that will support more connected care and better patient outcomes across Victorian Public health services (VPHS).
This role requires a dynamic and engaging individual with a technical background who has extensive experience leading the delivery of solutions and services in complex clinical environments. Working under the direction of the HIE Health Delivery Manager, the Principal Delivery Lead plays a critical role in leading the implementation of HIE solution across the VPHS.
Accountabilities
- Under the direction of the Health Delivery Manager, lead the engagement with health services and internal stakeholders to determine and document the requirements and plans to integrate and implement the HIE solution within Health Services.
- Lead the execution of delivery plans to ensure agreed objectives and milestones are achieved, including monitoring progress and status reporting.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for health service stakeholders, establishing and maintaining strong relationships, understanding, and managing their needs, expectations, and priorities to ensure delivery alignment and execution of activities to meet agreed milestones.
- Liaise and collaborate with the project's technical and clinical adoption teams, solution vendor, and other relevant stakeholders to collate and or document the technical and change requirements for health services to implement the HIE.
- Facilitate effective communication among internal and external stakeholders, driving communication activities such organising and running meetings and workshops, preparing reports, providing timely updates on progress against agreed milestones.
- Identify and assess health service requirements, project contention, policies, standards, privacy and security requirements that may impact the planning and execution of the HIE solution implementation.
- Provide support throughout the project lifecycle, liaise and support project technical, testing and implementation change teams deliver project services and activities.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
