Program Lead

**Role: Program Lead**

**Experience: 10+ years**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Lead / Project Governance Lead (PMO function)** **leads a set of programs within the PMO department** and is responsible for **designing the framework within which projects are created, managed and completed**:

- The role is **focused on creating approach, documentation and process** according to which projects are **identified, prioritized, and delivered** with high quality, positive stakeholder and employee engagement and before-time and before-budget
- **The suitable person for this role would have 12+ years of experience** in creating effective **Enterprise-level, project management office**with PMO processes and **would have overseen at least 2 end to end cycles of PMO** office creation to effectively delivering projects

**Positional Overview**:

- Take primary accountability for **ensuring the effective delivery of a portfolio** of projects & change initiatives on behalf of the team & relevant Business Sponsors
- These will vary in size, complexity and number over time based on the priorities of the business
- Work with the various program and project sponsors, delivery teams and key stakeholders to draft and implement Program delivery framework to support the Organization strategy by supporting the case for the work (i.e. relevant funding submission) and then oversee the delivery of their portfolio and the realization of agreed benefits as detailed in the approved funding submissions
- The role is also required to ensure ongoing maintenance of the integrity and integration of each component of these initiatives, through oversight of progress and delivery; management of "in flight" and pipeline interdependencies; ensuring that the benefits are delivered

**Experience and skills required**:

- Clear track record of **delivering large/complex/strategic projects/programs of work** - **min 5+ years of experience**:

- **Strong Business Program Management** Experience **in planning and delivering**:

- Sound Domain knowledge **in Manufacturing industry, ideally**in the process **manufacturing**or the **mining industry**:

- Having **PMO Advisory** and **project delivery lead experience** dedicated to **SAP or Non-SAP projects**:

- Strong Portfolio &/ or **Technical Program Management Experience**:

- Skilled in managing C-level executive relationships, governance and steering committees
- Sound business case development and management / oversighting skills
- Demonstrated experience in and understanding of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling portfolios
- Inclusive, collaborative and engaging approach; including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate and influence with a broad range of people at all levels
- Ability to structure and manage multi-disciplinary teams across multiple functions; creatively define the project pacing and obtain incremental benefits before the program is complete
- Ability to coordinate and liaise with a range of senior stakeholders - both onsite and offshore and influence them to drive delivery outcomes
