About the opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Manager to join our Finance team based in Melbourne.
As the Insurance Manager you will be the point of accountability for ISPT’s insurance requirements which include
- General lines of insurance
- Financial lines of insurance
Your role will have you managing the financial and general lines of the insurance renewal process each year to ensure the appropriate cover is in place. You will also have oversight of the claims processes for all policies. This includes working with insurance providers to develop a specific process for liability and property claims that is efficient for all parties and well understood by ISPT and property management staff.
Your role will have you
- Manage the relationship with ISPTs insurance brokers and review alternative options in the market.
- Present the proposed renewal position to the ISPT CFO and Audit Risk & Compliance Committee
- Ensure all policy documentation, including certificates of currency and invoices are properly maintained.
- Develop maintain and improve as required, the claims processes, including robust recording and reporting of all claims.
- Provide continuous education and training to the broad ISPT business on insurance related matters including risk mitigation. About you
You are an experienced Insurance Manager who is comfortable in managing external business partners as well as internal stakeholders. You bring experience in property insurance and claim processing and you have demonstrated experience in negotiating with service providers.
You are a strong communicator, and you thrive on problem solving. You bring initiate, collaboration, and your curious nature to examine and re-engineer process, policies and strategies.
