**Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of 3 x 2 FIFO (fly in fly out) Mobile Site Support techs deployed at Remote Rio Tinto mining operations sites and 1 x FIFO back fill technician.
- Ensure the Health and Safety of the team and monito all members compliance with all Rio Tinto Site inductions and safety practices.
- Have high visibility and engagement with Rio Tinto management teams operating Android Tablets and address/escalate any issues as required.
- Take ownership of any escalated mobility hardware/software issues that impact users to ensure a timely resolution is achieved.
- Creating various reports on team performance, roadblocks and trends associated with the deployment and health of site mobile tablets.
- Arrange travel and accommodation bookings for team members.
- Direct and supervise the mobility site support team members in:

- Support training of users on critical apps for relevant department (e.g. Safety Tool, PLM, MASDash) based on the training, Knowledge Transfer and documentations provided by individual Applications Team
- Support device including SIM cards, personas, directories, licencing, tablet upgrades as required (e.g. Tab 2 upgrade to Tab 3)
- Maintain site tablet register based on the training, Knowledge Transfer and documentations provided as required.
- Support in developing any Quick Reference Guide (QRG) based on repeat queries or FAQs including directing teams to relevant documentation/guides if they exist e.g. how to order tablets and accessories
- Utilize existing mobility related dashboards to seek out issues to proactively manage problems
- Ensure all issues being worked on are raised as a ticket. Engagement could be through Teams channels, phone calls, walk ups. All tasks must be tracked via a ticket.
- Be the first point of contact for all tablets related issues. If they are not physically present at a particular site, act as the SME to the site support teams
- Be visible to our customers on site. This includes regularly attending pre starts and getting to know the supervisors of particular areas, such as fixed plant, MEM etc
- Report any reoccurring issues and raise a problem for these reoccurring issues. Whilst the are not expected to resolve the problem, they will need to be involved with the troubleshooting and testing, and to ensure the problem teams are prioritizing it correctlyYou will be given training, the flights/travel to mine sites will be covered and taken care off along with meals.

**Requirements**:

- Based in Perth - client a large mining organisation.
- 8 days onsite for a 12hour shift typically 6am-6pm and 6 days offsite.
- Operation desktop environment support
- Provision of 2nd level desktop support across multiple, regional mine sites
- Management of incidents and requests
- Respond and escalate to 3rd level teams where required
- Experience in Microsoft support environment and able to work autonomously and independently.
