**About the Role**

We currently have an opportunity for a Medical Secretary on a short-term contract basis for one of our main clients in Perth,.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including clinic co-ordination and preparation, and diary management
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding appointment details/changes, referrals and test requirements
- Ensure patients are fully informed of all costs/fees and our payment policy
- Coordinate hospital bookings for procedures, tests and admissions
- Daily typing of doctor's dictation from our digital system
- Ensure consulting rooms are well prepared
- Manage administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are complete and accurate
- General office administration - perform other duties as required

**About You**:

- Experienced Medical Secretary or similar role
- Proficient in medical practice management software
- High level of patient care/customer service and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in dictaphone typing; knowledge of medical terminology is vital
