**About the Role**:
The Adaptalift Group have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-oriented
**Field Service Supervisor **to join our service team based out of Springvale.
You will provide coaching and support to the team of Field Technicians to ensure they have the tools and resources to service our customers and meet their KPIs, whilst maximising service revenue.
You will be a key part of the team in improving the productivity and profitability of our busy Service Department spanning across Melbourne.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Lead, coach and give direction to our team of qualified field service technicians
- Facilitate on time scheduled maintenance in line with OEM recommendations
- Liaise with customers on a daily basis and resolve any issues
- Monitor and maintain condition and planned maintenance requirements of Forklift Fleet, technician workloads and assess against KPIs
- Improve and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Reporting of key service metrics daily
- Monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements.

**About You**:
You are resilient by nature, with a customer service focus previously gained in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone with a strong commitment to safe work practices and excellent communication skills. You lead by example and will be no stranger to working in a fast-paced environment to meet changing deadlines. Whilst you don’t need to be a technical expert to be successful in this role, your technical background gained in a similar industry will assist you with handling customer and technician enquiries.
While no two days will be the same you will need to have the flexibility to switch between detail oriented tasks to being in the trenches with your team.

**Skills and Attributes**
To be considered for this role you will possess the following experience and skills:

- Experience in a supervisory/management position within the materials handling, heavy equipment or similar industry is desired
- A mechanical trade, technical or engineering background is required
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse on all levels
- Organisational skills and problem-solving ability
- A strong understanding of conflict resolution and people management tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Competent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite (excel etc)
