An exciting opportunity currently exists for a high energy, customer oriented
**Field Service Supervisor **to join our Heavy Equipment Service team in our VIC state branch based in Truganina. Lead and provide direction as the key contact for our customers and team of heavy equipment field service technicians across VIC. Provide coaching and support to the technicians to ensure they have the tools and resources to service our customers and meet their KPIs, whilst maximising service revenue.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager - Heavy Equipment, you will be a key part of the Service Department in improving the productivity and profitability of our busy Service Department spanning across VIC.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Lead, coach and give direction to our team of qualified field service technicians
- Facilitate on time scheduled maintenance in line with OEM recommendations
- Liaise with customers on a daily basis and resolve any issues
- Maximising service revenue
- Monitor and maintain condition and planned maintenance requirements of Forklift and Heavy Equipment fleet, technician workloads and assess against KPIs
- Improve and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Reporting of key service metrics daily
- Monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Experience in a supervisory/management position within the materials handling, heavy equipment or similar industry is desired
- A motor trade, technical or engineering background is required
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse on all levels
- Strong organisational skills and problem solving ability
- Conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Competent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite (excel etc)

**About you**
You are resilient by nature, with a customer service focus previously gained in a fast paced reactive environment. You lead by example and are able to work under pressure to problem solve and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes to customers. Whilst you don’t need to be a technical expert to be successful in this role, your technical background gained in a similar industry preferably with heavy equipment will assist you with handling customer and technician enquiries.
While no two days will be the same you will need to have the flexibility to switch between detail oriented tasks to being in the trenches with your team.
