**The Opportunity**

Lindfield Gardens Retirement Living is a quiet, leafy and close-knit retirement living community located in Sydney's East Lindfield. Due to an internal transfer, the team has an opportunity for a resident-centred **Registered Nurse** to lead a small team of care staff for the residents residing in our Serviced Apartments. Care Managers play a key role in our organisation with the goal to create a happy, welcoming, caring, and safe environment for residents and staff. Working in an established community, you will be committed to providing high-quality service and your care will be second to none. This involves working closely with your team, liaising with residents, families, and external health professionals on a regular basis, to help enable a retirement lifestyle full of choice, security, and enjoyment.

**This is a permanent part-time role working Monday-Wednesday 7am-3pm - great work/life balance**

**You will**
- Provide exceptional clinical leadership and support to your small team of 5 staff
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of care and support services for residents, including respite residents.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, and internal and external stakeholders (such as GPs, Pharmacists or Allied Health partners)
- Recruitment, induction, training, rostering and supervision of care employees.
- Conducting routine well-being checks of residents and responding to vital calls
- Update resident care plans and be accountable for medication management
- Assist with the overall operations of the Serviced Apartments including supplies & ordering, reporting incidents, cleanliness and administration
- Ensure all residents' preferences and lifestyle wishes are respected and promoted.

**What you will bring**:

- Experienced Registered Nurse with leadership experience in a similar role (Community, Home Care or Aged Care desired, but not essential)
- Developed clinical assessment skills and ability to deliver high-quality clinical care with compassion
- Current AHPRA registration (Div. 1) and CPR Certificate
- People management and communication skills to ensure you can support your close-knit team
- Proficient in the use of technology and digital systems
- Current Police Check and COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date
