**The role and what we are looking for**
Reporting to the Sales Manager - SA & NT, this role is responsible for autonomously driving business growth and retention for a portfolio of risk protection and insurance customers across the Adelaide and Darwin regions, including some regional areas. This role will be based in Adelaide but will involve travel to Darwin.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Generating new business opportunities from a large, existing customer base;
- Retaining existing business by adding value to the customers through the provision of a proactive and personalised account management experience;
- Developing and expanding the existing customer portfolio through new customer acquisition, cross-selling and up-selling; and
- Forming meaningful relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure a value driven approach.
- Risk protection or insurance sales experience (essential);
- Sales and field experience (desirable);
- RG146 Tier 1 Compliance (essential);
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills;
- This is a field and home-based role, therefore the ability to territory manage and be on the road most days is essential; and
- A proven capability to work autonomously and deliver results.
