**Your new company**

We have partnered with a State Government Department committed to delivering services and improving the lives of Queenslanders. We are recruiting a HR Business Partner to help support their HR team in their Brisbane operation.

**Your new role**

In this role, some of your key duties will include:

- Providing HR and employee relations advice on a wide range of workplace relations matters, including case management, in line with relevant legislation, policies and frameworks
- Building relationships and working in partnership with the business units to positively promote, coach and educate managers in contemporary HR practices and strategies
- Providing advice on initiatives and/or changes relating to HR directives, policies and procedures
- Supporting the HR team in undertaking a range of HR projects

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your key success in this role will be attributed to your previous experience in providing contemporary HR services coupled with a strong focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement. Previous working experience within HR preferably within the government sector, is desirable. Your ability to collaborate and provide best practise HR support and advice is essential to this role.
